Intarsia Transethnic Arts

  This was Askar Greywolf's first performance in the United States at California State University Long Beach. Intarsia Interethnic Arts Project founder and creative director Andy Bauer joined the long running Askar Greywolf Uighur Rock Orchestra in 2011 to play the Uighur Surnay, Ghirjek as well as keyboards. Andy is also a student of Uighur and Chinese language in the department of Anthropology at Minzu University, Beijing, China.
