Music is by far the most integral division of the Intarsia Recordings and Media and Productions Co.. We consider music the most impact-full form of art, because it can be performed live, interactively and combined with all other forms of art in real-time. It is considered a great social phenomena around the world, a universal source of joy and means to individual expression that encourages positive use of the imagination and also compels so many forms of dance expression. Furthermore, music can arguably be found in many aspects of nature, the sound of wind, the ocean, music is our heart beat and much more. The great passion for interethnic musical expression held by a Intarsia Interethnic music artists allows each to approach musical creations with profound sensitivity. Whether it be artistic expression, soundtrack usage or other application, this division of Intarsia can assist in various aspects of musical endeavors including production, composition, recording, to a lesser degree sound engineering & marketing.

Music Recording

The Intarsia interethnic music recording philosophy places more emphasis on music writing process and communication between musicians at the time of performance/recording, carefully following the guidelines of Interethnic Folk Art. It does not so much rely on high-tech electronic after effects or high end digital software recording approaches to get the "desired" sound. In the Intarsia philosophy the sound should be more a result of the process, representative of actual budget of production. Overt mastering that makes certain elements of the music obvious or easy to hear should be achieved with organic instrument and vocal dynamic variations. The certainly is such as thing as natural music. In order to deepen understanding Intarsia Interethnic Folks Arts also has a co-developmental education division.

Music Production

Music production follows the interethnic arts approach, this music can be offered for university performance, entertainment and multimedia cross application. Sometimes it is also in the form of collaboration or educational interest, please see artists and recordings for examples.

Music Marketing

The idea of profit maximized music sales is not of importance. The ability to pay back recording cost, and use albums recorded for enrichment and awareness of the Intarsia Interethnic Art philosophy is central. Marketing and education as a synergy force that relies on co-development from listeners, viewers and collaborators. Please see our education section for more information.

To date, Intarsia Recordings, Media and Productions Co. has successfully recorded and paid back all recording costs. All future projects will have this primary goal, furthermore, higher and higher standards for promoting awareness of the Interethnic Art philosophy.
