The tech-concepts sub division of concepts is devoted to high technology components invented by Intarsia staff that in the process of creating the technology underwent some sort of inter-ethnic problem solving to come up with the solution prescribed.

User Generated Security Data Concept

Problem:

Live flash video consul interface allows for unmonitored usage of live feeds at unprecedented levels.  Various age groups access the interface and engage in various activities... smart technologies that recognize criminal activities such as nudity on the screen and can also delete such user accounts using automated systems exist but users should also have the ability to provide information to the database about abusive behavior.  Making this possible will both help get the ball rolling for improving user generated security information and simultaneously teach users how to protect themselves... after all the online revolution is also a cultural phenomena impacting daily life.  So, building interfaces that help build capacity for the new skills required to maintain safety for oneself online is a great functionality development approach for an IT company to engage when expanding their interface(s).

Existing Interface:

Front End:

Previous User Interface:
-  User can log in and out at any time and into any other users interfaces after granting access
-  Both group chats that have moderators and individual chats with the hosts as a moderator exist

Back End Issue:
-  Ability to monitor live feeds on an individual basis without dynamic user generated security data

Needed Interface:
-  911 style system that allows users to “objectively” report abusers
-  A dynamic interface in place so that action can be taken in real time.
-  Administrative side and moderator side control functionality

Front End (Solution Part A):
-  A button that allows users to automatically block live feeds and generate a report to the back end security team
-  Protocols in place so that if the emergency system itself is abused standard measures and automated systems for canceling accounts can occur

Back End (Solution Part B):
-  Moderator control system to control front end data reported
-  Flash video recordings of the user feeds flagged on the interface, to serve as objective evidence of the situation for staff to take action with

Conclusion:
-  Basic interface could take years or decades from now to be fully realized, but simple interface envisioned here could likely be a microcosm for what is to come for online video/live broadcasting.  The is, using UGC (user Generated Content) to build a self aware security technology.  Of coarse, like all security technology, there is a way around, but some standard protocols will make it harder, and perhaps help prevent the few who are slightly curious from going into the deep end.

Flash TV User Broadcast Client Concept

Problem:

TV is based upon centralized broadcast and centralized infrastructure.  Extensive overhead makes it almost impossible for almost all people to be the same kind of broadcasters and content makers as what we see on TV regardless of your financial and national background.  Live flash video components allow for this obstacle to be overcome for the first time in many ways. In time it is feasible that the standard of home production could approach current T.V. standards.  But, how to create an administrative interface that is highly automated yet allows users to moderate and control as much of the functionality to do live broadcast using the internet, yet still all be broadcasted into time slots on the same piece of real estate (web page) was the challenge at hand.  Therein, organizing the broadcast into a profit model was also very important.

Existing Interface:

Front End:

EMBEDDABLE LIVE VIDEO FEED FLASH WIDGET

-  User can log in and out at any time
-  Yet component is isolated to a page without high real estate value since there is no way to switch out users

Back End:
-  No back end like this

Needed Interface:
-  Centralized front end top page interface to create real estate
-  the ability to switch users out of the top page Flash TV consul (Broadcast client)
-  Administrative side and moderator side control functionality

Back End (Solution Part A):
-  Broadcast Client Control system
-  Moderator control System to control front end moderators

Front End (Solution Part B):
-  A TV looking time-line (or carousel) based flash interface that switches the user out of the top page slot on a time bases via a proprietary broadcast client.

Conclusion:
-  Basic interface could take years or decades from now to be fully realized, but simple interface envisioned here could likely be a microcosm for what is to come for online video/live broadcasting using UGC (user Generated Content)
