More About the Collection:  The Matar series was created in Tokyo, Japan and in Mt. Vernon, Iowa.  Since completion Andy went on to journey Mongolia and there he made direct encounters with Khoomie singers from both Mongolia and Tuva.  He also for a time, engaged students of the art living in Japan from various countries.
