Tuva 2012 - In The Process of Dag Kargyraa

These photos were taken during an initial trip to Tuva in June, 2012 in the process of mastering the style of Tuvan throat singing known as kargyraa. The trip was a beautiful disaster because much more learning of Tuvan culture learned in a 3 week period than expected, but on the other hand what was originally planned as a three month expedition was cut short when a guaranteed visa extension was not permitted.
